This
section took a while to get together, but it’s
hard to keep track of all those years! These first
shots are of my brother Bob and myself, he is
the dude that turned me on to Freddie King and
The Allman Brothers Band. He also snuck me into
night clubs to sit in with some of the best musicians
in the biz! If it wasn't for Bob and the the love
and believe of my wife Jani –there would
be no MRB.
This
shot is of Bob Gulley, the best man at my wedding,
Bro Bob, Me and Larry Hansen (Alabama) jamming
at The Beach Ball, Newport Beach, CA. This club
is where I went to rock & roll boot camp at
the age of 19 in 1978.
This
was the band that made want to do it! I got to
sneek in to the
backstage area at Pinnwinnie’s Iron Factory
in Fullerton, CA in 1970. Reggie Loudermilk, Will
Brandy, Arthur Goldstein and Bob Reilly.
1980
Here is a pic of my first band, "Whistler",
also one of my funniest groups.

Mitchellini - a friend and a brother for life!
Here he is introducing the MRB to an audience
of 10,000 people. He got us our first radio airplay
and then some on a major Los Angeles radio station,
which neither of us choose to mention. He also
had us perform a live radio show called "Bang
the Drum," where we had 2 million listeners
that day! You da man Geno!!!
