WHATS NEW 2008

So it’s been a while! The last two years on the road have been busy!
From the 40th Anniversary of Alice’s Restaurant, Rideing the City of New Orleans benefit.

Last but certainly not least The Guthrie Family Legacy Tour. From Seattle to Keywest, California to Canada to Washington Mass.

To me I could swear most of it was in snow,

But there were sunny days as well.

Okema, OK 2007-The birthplace of Woody Guthrie.

To everyone I worked with on all the tours -Gordon Titcomb, Johnny Irion and Sarah Lee thanks for getting me up to play! Arlo, Abe and the whole Guthrie family-Mahalo! PEACE.

THE NEW BAND

Chris Squires, Mike Reilly, JD King, George Manoukian, Glen Fisher, Lee Williams.

I’ve been proud of all my line ups. But the current band is a gumbo of all styles. A to Z (Allman to Zappa) Jaimoe told me that a great band can play anything, we’ll this is it!

We plan on shows thru out the states. Starting with my home town of Oceanside, California. We're renting theatres and promoting our shows with special guest TBA!

Come see us March 1st and 2nd 2008 in Santa Rosa, Ca For the Izzy’s 17th annual Tattoo’s and Blue’s www.tattoosandblues.net

Look familiar? That’s right, a lot the MRB is in this line up as well as some very talented people. When the CD comes out you’ll understand why this is a very special project to me. Lee Williams is the producer/drummer/guitarist/singer.

His (Speak Easy Studios) is a perfect atmosphere to record, film and even put on an art show. Check it out on the web www.myspace.com/speakeasystudiosoceanside

Billy Watson

I’ve had the pleasure of performing with Billy and his Silver String Submarine Band at Coyote’s in Carlsbad, CA. He is the real McCoy!

A must see if you like great blues and a great entertainer. More to come!
